Transformational Change Happening In Local Schools

We’re really encouraged by the increased sense of His presence in our sessions – it’s exhilarating and if you’ve yet to experience it come to one of the sessions (http://www.c-hop.co.uk/schedule/).
This Friday 8-10pm join us for another intercessory worship session focusing on the sphere of Education in our community.
We’re hearing stories from a number of schools in the area were transformational change is beginning to happen.
For example, we’re hearing of a Scripture Union (SU) established and thriving in one school that previously resisted having one.
The behavioural statistics of another school have significantly improved and staff have directly attributed this to the influence of a local church youth ministry with the kids.
If you are connected in any way with education locally your input can really help transform a generation.

1859 – Charles Darwin wrote famous work ‘On The Origin Of The Species’. Also the year that Karl Marx published a trial volume of what later became known as Das Kapital.
These 2 works have formed foundations for many arguments which have sort to draw people away from God. Yet in the same year – God himself was being revealed extensively – across America, parts of Europe, and, as we all know – across this very province.
While some were being drawn to debate the very existence of God – God himself was showing up and changing communities. in a very simple way I think that is extremely significant!! as they say ‘timing is everything!!’
As Ian Randall – in his book ‘Rhythms of Revival’ points out.. “ at the heart of this spiritual renewal was a belief in prayer and a conviction that that revival would spread through prayerful waiting in God’s presence”.
So – when the people of God got on their faces, God began to unveil His!!

This Friday night’s session we focus on the ‘Church’. The mission of the local church in the area.
Join us 8-10pm.
Here’s a novel way that you can support C-HOP without donating money.
Let us sell your stuff on a ‘charity’ auction on eBay.
I’d wager you have some items in your house that you no longer use that could fetch some cash. It’s win-win – you get to de-clutter and we get some funds for projects and running C-HOP
You don’t even have to send us the item.
All you need to do is email us the details and photos and we’ll list it on eBay. Then you can either get the item to us or, when it sells, send it to the buyer (we’ll pay the postage).
Simple as that.
Drop me a line and we’ll help you de-clutter!

C-HOP: “soothing medicine for the deepest parts of the soul”

“soothing medicine for the deepest parts of the soul – could literally feel springs of living water bubbling up – something special going on there…”
That was the feedback from someone who came to C-HOP for the first time last Friday.
This Friday join us again 8-10pm for a strategic intercessory worship session for family culture issues.
In the next few weeks sessions will focus on The Church, Education and Business. If these are areas of life that you are connected with consider joint us on Fridays.
‘C-HOP on Tour’
We’re going to be visiting a number of local churches to lead sessions and share the vision.
Our first event is at Coleraine Methodist Church Sunday 16th 11.30am.
