writers, creative thinkers and anyone involved in or interested
in the Arts and Culture sector to have a vibrant, creative night

This Week: Suicide and Stormont
February 2, 2011
2 things this week…
1. Suicide
2. Stormont
1. This Friday we focus on the issue of suicide in our culture.
It’s a major killer of young people in our society and this Friday 4th
we have Kieran Quinn helping us understand the issues and inform
our prayers.
Kieran is uniquely qualified, on a number of levels, to speak
into this – you will be inspired.
Join us at 8pm Friday.
2. Next Tuesday is our last opportunity to worship/pray in Stormont
(Northern Ireland Parliament for those of you in other parts of the world)
before the elections in May
If you want to be a part of changing history (really!) please read Margaret
Clarke’s email below…
=========================
We invite you to join us as we gather again to pray for our
politicians – this will be our only opportunity to pray IN
Stormont before the election in May.
Politicians are not permitted to sponsor events in the two months
preceding the election so we are glad of this opportunity to
gather there ‘on-site’. We hope to gather to pray again in
April ‘off-site’ at a venue to be confirmed – so watch this
space!
We will be meeting on Tuesday 8th February in the Senate Room at
Stormont, from 7.30pm – 9.00pm .
Chris Lyttle MLA is sponsoring this event and this letter is your
personal invitation to come on the 8th Februaryand participate
directly if you are able. As you may appreciate, there is a
security implication to our meeting in Stormont and so we ask if
you would confirm by phone or email if you are able to attend and
if you are bringing others with you.
We need to know your car registration number, the names of those
attending or travelling in your car, and if you need disabled
access no later than noon Monday 7th.
As the meeting will be starting promptly at 7:30pm we suggest
arriving at 7:15pm to go through the security check. For those
that have not attended one of these prayer gatherings before
please note that access will be via the Massey Avenue entrance.
IMPORTANT: May I stress that you cannot just turn up on the night
without sending in your name and registration number.
Margaret
